The Children's Peace Plan

I.
Ask the children for Peace Plans!
No God has ever come!

Food, clothing, shelter.   For these,Love stands!
Not life forever in hereafter to come!

Silence guns! Testosterone's helter skelter!
Watch joyful child-eyes light up the land!

Set Free family love,
Root of social-love to rise above!

Community embraces real nest, childhood joy!
Here, life and soul find their ploy!

II.
Ask not that empire rules
Holding riches stolen!

By hoax of false divine;
Stop ceremony devised by fools.

Ask not generals and soldiers!
Here, death and ego run for fun!

Where have all the flowers gone!
To grave yards youth-full, every one!

Yea, children are the future
Of Love and community-nurture!

Chose no more life of greed and hate;
Chose Earth-child -- all, hence, elevates.

Bond human hearts: soul of matter!
Not a never seen hereafter!

We Shall Know the Truth

          By L. S. Heatherly

We shall know the truth--
That truth is known far less
In pursuit of happiness!

Far more in paths through maze
That lead us to our children's joys.
No more to gun's false fate deploys!

Away from greed, wealth and power;
Into childhood's endless showers
Of growth upon all family ways.

This, down through ancient, human hours;
This human spring comes, still, again.

As long as this may, still, remain
Our true, highest, human power.

The Greatest Gift: Children's Eyes

              By L.S. Heatherly

         Children: the Origin of Peace

I.
Be thankful for peace;
For, where there is peace,
There is rooted love.
These two, as one, rise above.

II.
The most thanksgiving of our lives?
Our look into all children's eyes!

Springs, here, the answer to all whys!
Souls, here, re-root; lest childhood dies!

Earth's sweet, human Soul need not die;
Boot's march for holy words. Boots lie!

Greed: brings the money changers' lies;
Love: springs all peace: from children's eyes!

When, all Lands, once again, kneel here:
Greed, war, fear:
Each of these, then, dies.

Self, World, Life, and Soul

When Life evolves to that place
Where Self and Life interface,
With Soul and World perceived as one,
Time and Being become as one.

This sacred matrimony, once in place,
Bequeathed, holds to its patterns and its pace.
Novel things break in to have their way,
Forsake such bliss for fancies of the day;

Wild oats of Ego fly at the face
Of downtrodden youth, still yearning for its grace.
Greed and lust run naked in the street,
Till Life confronts the Soul it has to meet.

Nature waits out these wars against her will;
The springs of Life, from tears, again refill.

Visions of Love Over Blind Power

Love is blind to the single soul possessed;
Blind to  one mind-body's selfishness.

Love is our wider, deeper vision -- blessed
By, and for, the Earth-human, village nest.

Love grows fruits of love as highest wealth:
Our deep panoramic, Earth and human self!

Love nurtures all humanness and Earthlyness--
unfolding, wide, as the soul's deepest quest;

Love nourishes the manifold joys of humanity:
Not what's bought, stolen, and possessed by insanity;

Sans the greedy, selfishness of persons and elites;
Sans all the Ages and millenia of recycled fights.

Love springs forth the flowerings and fruitings
Of whole human self's, community-soul's choosings.

Ask not for whom Love may ever flower.
Peoples seek Love's seeds and friuts as showers.

Into the winds and soils of the soul,
Love sows Her joys as hearth against the cold!

Ask not why Love's visions still grow in thee;
Such does portend all hearts know being free!

Eyes of Child Quest Into Thee

(Amazon Child-Eyes)

I
Should we, now, think we'll ever see
A poem more lovely and more free

Than pristine child with seaching eyes
Perched on our urban, hassled knee!

A gift from Earth-life's, human wild,
Born with eyes questing into thee!

A child whose eyes, in vain, still quest
For Earth's pure eco-viillage, nest.

II
Such lifeway eyes, pure once, did find
Earth's free unfolding life did shine.

Our greed, thru might, did conquest,
And laid pure eyes of child to death.

Pure child-eyes now quest in screens,
Bind life and eye to machines.

We cannot wish, again, to see
The pure child-eyes in village free.

III
Child-eyes ask, Always bound? Or was I free?
And what, through art's machines, are thee?

For image and scene, you shoot me;
Never banned, I am the human game, that's free.

Ancient Roads Not Taken

Shall we think our greed is natural sensation?
These speeds swift and high, modern legend still upholds!

Spared artifice's power, spared greed's imagination,
Our fancy, bold, mighty, dead-end roads

Would be the roads still undiscovered, still not taken.
We un-selected Earthly roads, for roads that proved forsaken.

Come climate change, come social hell, come high water;
These new roads won't push our lust much farther.

Our grand schemes, civilization-centric charters,
Now bow down to Earth-life's ancient, humble alters.

Stopping by Woods on a Showy Descending

................................................................................................

For Earth (her Life's days, eons, Her peoples),
and for Robert Frost, U.S. Poet, 1874-1963:

from Frost's watching "woods fill up with snow" and his personal
"promises to keep" to Our watching Earth and Humanity fill up
with technological polution; and our going-scarce promises of "Earth's
human soul to keep."
...........................................................................................

Prologue:
We saw Her, thru artificial eye,
As scope, screen and lense, told not the why.
We failed to pull Her pure Life near,
And hold Earth-human systems dear.

I.
Whose truths these were, we barely know;
Their home: old, organic village though.
They and Earth, divine us stopping here
To mourn their truths, now, buried low.

II.
Our mortgaged hearts sense love is near,
Stopping here to quell our fear:
To foil ego's desire and greed,
Should soul aspire an Earth so dear.

III.
These truths give shackled hearts a break,
Calm civil mind's deep Human-quake.
The only other move's the creep
Of Human Nature's rape, History's true mistake.

IV.
High-tech arts are charming, dark and deep.
But we've Earth's human soul to keep,
Truths to regrow, 'fore we humans sleep.
Truths to regrow, 'fore we humans sleep.

Epilogue:
Stopping by Earth's life descending,
Her powers, she will be defending--
Our coldness to Life, rescending.
