Oh, essence of poetry!

Releasing the sounds of speech,
Releasing the beauty of voice,

Timings of sounds and silence;
Wings of speech, lifting prose into song;

Transcending the explosive noise
Of written history at war with path of Soul;

The breaking free of artificial form,
The joyful dash into natural language!
